Mark Madness Regatta

Charity Fundraiser for Challenge Mountain

Boyne City, Michigan
June 7-8, 2008

This year we are joining the Boyne City Yacht Club and will be racing in their Mark Madness Regatta. This will be held on Lake Charlevoix near Boyne City. Lake Charlevoix is one of the most beautiful sailing sites in Michigan. We will be racing off the beach in Boyne City this year instead of Young State Park. Camping in Boyne City has not been formalized at this point, and reservations at Young State Park are recommended.

LOCATION: CRAM is working with BCYC to allow camping in the parking lot in Boyne City where we camp for the Red Fox Regatta. There are no amenities (electricity, water, etc.). Young State Park is about 3 miles north of Boyne City along the east side of Lake Charlevoix. Camping is available at the park. Excellent beach. Swimming permitted. Click here for a map. You can launch from Young State Park. If staying at Young, most sailors camp in the Terrace campground (near the boat launch).

Pay regatta fees through Paypal

BCYC Fees:
$40.00 per boat for the two day regatta *MUST BE PAID BY MAY 30!
$ 18.00 per person for the Cajun broil beer and wine.
$10.00 Kids 13 to 20 years of age
$0 for Kids under 12 and under

* Regatta fees paid after may 30 will be assessed a $25 late fee, so git 'er done!

1) Download the Entry Form, fill it out, and bring it to Registration

2) Pay the regatta fees BY MAY 30 by going here

It's as simple as that.
